What a pleasure it was to meet The Honourable Karen Struthers -The Minister for Women at the Connect 2 Mums, Mumpreneur awards held in Brisbane August 2010. Karen presented me with my Finalist Certificate and happily posed for a picture. She gave a short speech, and being a mum herself, totally understood where we were all coming from.
